MusketeerKitty's staff application
#1
Applicant Information:
Steam Name: MusketeerKitty
SteamID (STEAM_0:X:XXXXXX): 76561198144129946
Discord Tag: musketeerthegreat
Forum Account: MusketeerKitty
Timezone: CET
Garry's Mod Hours: 841 (at the time of writing this)

Activity Requirements:
Average daily playtime on server: like usually anywhere between 1-3 hours
Weekly availability (days/times): almost everyday during summer break and during school weeks also most of the time accept between 5am to 4-5 pm
Do you have a working microphone? (Yes/No): yes

Staff History:
Previous staff experience (include server names, ranks, and responsibilities):
Have you ever been punished, banned, or blacklisted on any server?
  • If yes, explain in detail: I have been moderator on many servers actually usually minecraft servers and my largest server Ive been admin on has 2k people

Rule Knowledge & Situations:
Answer clearly and in detail. Short or vague answers may result in denial.
1. A player is actively RDMing and disconnects when you attempt to deal with them. What do you do? If they keep avoiding the situation I have nothing else to do besides ban for a few days
2. You receive a report of FearRP/LTAP but both players are arguing and claiming innocence. How do you handle the situation? I ask for any sort of proof they might have
3. A staff member is abusing commands or showing bias. What steps do you take? Report it to another staff member that has a higher role or report it directly to the owner
4. Multiple active reports are submitted at once. How do you prioritize and manage them? I go one by one not taking priority over any just going from first to last

Staff Mindset:
Why do you want to become Trial Moderator on our server?
  • (Be detailed. “To help the server” is not enough. Minimum 300 words.) I want to become mod because personally I love this server a lot even tho I might have said that the server is pay to win but uhhh I was just mad and didnt mean it. I would love to become mod because the community is also amazing and I wanna help the server grow and reach its full potential plus I believe in the cause of the server going in an actual good direction and not having 50gb of mods which makes it more accessible to other people which really gained my respect for the server and I would love to help out where ever and whenever I can and uhhhh tbf I have nothing more to say or yap about so sorry
What does being a staff member mean to you? for me it means helping the players and the community with problems while still being an active community member and interacting with people
How do you handle toxic or disrespectful players without escalating the situation? try to be respectful and calm and understand the situation and just give them a warning to stop being so toxic
What qualities make you suitable for a staff position? I am and experianced mod and admin like I said before on a server with 2k people and im am more or less online all day everyday

Final Declaration:
By submitting this application, you agree that:
  • You will follow all server rules and staff guidelines at all times.
  • Staff abuse, bias, or failure to perform duties may result in immediate removal.
  • Trial Moderator is a probationary rank and does not guarantee promotion.
Do you accept these terms? (Yes/No): Yes

Thank you for taking the time to apply to the RyeSprint Staff Team.
After reviewing your application and discussing it with the other admins, we have chosen not to accept your application on this occasion.
You're welcome to take what you've learned into account and submit a new application after one week.
Thank you again for your interest in joining the team, and we wish you the best of luck.

Additional Details:
Your application was denied due to a lack of detail, formatting errors, and failure to meet the minimum application requirements:
Word Count Requirement: The primary motivation question explicitly requires a minimum of 300 words. Your response falls significantly short of this threshold and includes filler language ("uhhh", "yap about so sorry") that detracts from the professionalism expected of staff.
Vague Situational Answers: The responses to the rule and scenario questions lack administrative depth. They do not demonstrate standard staffing procedures (such as checking combat/damage logs, handling severe offenses like Mass RDM vs. minor claims, or using staff tools properly).
